36 Hours to Go

We are down to the last few hours before we actually become "Elder and Sister Sexton." Tomorrow at 2 p.m. we will be set apart as missionaries by Thomas Carver, our Stake President . We have had a wonderful week. Last Sunday we gave our mission farewell talks with many of our family and friends in attendance. That afternoon our dear friends, the Talbots, opened their home so we could say goodbye to many of our ward members. Sunday evening we attended the beautiful dedication of the new Weatherford Stake Center.
Monday we started packing and for the last two days we have been unpacking, figuring what we could do without, and repacking. Putting 18 months worth of stuff in 4 suitcases has been really hard.
This Monday we report to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, about 36 hours from now. Our new adventure is about to begin!
